LECOM to open podiatry school in Erie with first students in fall 2023Dr. Jason Lee, a podiatrist, discusses the new LECOM School of Podiatric Medicine. He will be the dean of the Erie school, which opens in fall 2023.Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, the nation's largest medical school, has announced plans to grow even bigger.The Erie-based medical school is partnering with Jacksonville University to create its fifth campus, a four-year osteopathic medical school in northeastern Florida.
