I had a very good experience at Dr. Calhoun’s Endodontic office. I had an unsuccessful root canal treatment 20 years ago in a hospital, and some of the root material already calcified mixed with the residue nerve. It was a more difficult procedure than a regular root canal. I was nervous at the beginning. However Dr. Calhoun’ s excellent skill delivered an almost painless process. He clearly explained every step. The x-ray showed the root canal work was excellent. After the local anesthesia wore off, I did not have pain at all the first day. Although I had a little bit of sensitivity and soreness on the 2nd and 3rd day, I did not have to take pain medicine and I slept well at night. Everything was normal on the 4th day. I also want to thank his team members including the receptionist and her assistant. My home is about 3 hours’ drive from the office. The office made my appointment as soon as possible, checked the insurance carefully and informed me of all details, making sure that Dr. Calhoun would check (x-ray) and perform the root canal in the same appointment.
