I scheduled an appointment for havana twists with Sita. She took me within three weeks. Her price was very inexpensive; less than african hair braiding shops, so it left extra room for a tip. She took only 6 hours to complete my twists. She was very nice and considerate. I left with a normal sore fresh protective style which I was satisfied with at the time. However, the work on the hair wasn't the best as I began to notice after the hair loosened up. She used and left rubber bands at the base of the twists, leaving them visible. She had trouble gripping the parameter of my hair, so I assume that's why she did it. I have very thick hair, so I never had someone claim they couldn't grip my temple area. The twists were starting to slide off of my hair after 3 weeks and one actually fell out after 1 week, taking my hair with it. An excessive amount of fly aways were sticking out of the twists. It was very unattractive. I ended up with a small bald spot in the front right side of my hair and took them out after the 4th week mark. I usually get crochets and keep them in 6-8 weeks. I will stick to that. The customer service was great, but the work was disappointing. She tried, so I'm not angry. I will get some hot oil treatments to get my hair back in good shape.
